Color Space Art
Even though each painting has meaning on its own, its full effect cannot be achieved independently of the beholder. He or she, in turn, cannot be blind to the interaction between the room in which the painting is displayed and the effect inherent in the painting. The right painting in the wrong place does not maximize its potential. The right painting in the right place not only creates an effect on its own, it also makes the room seem different. This is why Inge Cascante is searching for the harmony between the creative act and the framework into which it must fit.
